On September 11 from 10:00 AM – Noon, Lower Grand River Organization of Watersheds (LGROW), an agency of the Grand Valley Metro Council, is hosting a cleanup in Ionia along the fairgrounds. Volunteers of all ages are welcome! Registration is optional but LGROW will send reminder emails and event updates tho those who register using the link HERE.
What to Expect:
- Event will still happen rain or shine
- All cleanup equipment including trash grabbers, bags, gloves, and sharps containers will be provided
- Light snacks provided
- Bring your own water bottles
- Wear closed-toe shoes and clothes that can get dirty (long pants recommended)
