On June 30, 2014 WMTGC’s capital campaign: “Connecting Communities, Completing the Vision” came to a close. We are thrilled to announce that we surpassed our fundraising goal and raised $3.6 million to help fund three main areas of need in the trail world:

Establish a maintenance fund for long and short term needs within our West Michigan Fred Meijer Regional Trail Network Create “key connectors” between the primary trail corridors, allowing for seamless travel between trails Provide support for updated signage and amenities along the trails

We were humbled by the amount of support and generosity our campaign donors provided. Special thanks goes out to the following foundations, businesses, and organizations for helping us achieve our goal:

  • Grand Rapids Community Foundation
  • Muskegon Area Community Foundation
